Why you should consider Apps as the next communication tool for your business?

In 2011 more apps will be downloaded than music on iTunes.
• There are over 2 million apps on iTunes.
• There are over 25,000 apps in Google’s Android Market
• Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung, Google and Windows Phone will all now support apps.

This ‘hands on’ half day session covers all the key areas to help small businesses understand how apps and the growing consumption of apps could help grow their business and potentially improve their efficiencies.

The session will take two threads, the first looking at how small businesses can harness existing apps to enhance their businesses and how developing their own app could help business.

Speaker Profile

This session will be led by Diane Shawe, Author of ‘How to cyber kiss your business to success’ the founder of i-send.co proximity mobile broadcasting. Other expert speakers will be attending all or selected venues.

‘Hands On’
Sometimes the best way to understand the potential of an app is to have it in your hands. During this session we will be showing you apps and letting you ‘play’ with them to get the best possible understanding.

We will also demonstrate different mobile platforms for you to experience including:
• iPhone
• IPad
• Google Android ‘Phone
• Nokia
• WIndows Phone 7

You will be welcome to test drive these during the session by using your own phone.
This is is not a technical session! Aimed at business owners or key personnel within businesses we will not be discussing code or anything technical!

This session is ‘everything you wanted to know’ – the current agenda covers what we believe you should know.

All participants will be invited to privately ask any question they wish to know. These can be general questions or ones specifically raised about their business or business sector. All these questions will be answered as part of the session.

Apps on your television

This is set to be the battleground for 2011. With Apple revamping its set top box to act more like an iPad, Microsoft and Nokioa teaming up, Google partnering with Sony to get into your living room, we will look at the rise of the TV app and how it could change everything.
